Family Music and Movement Classes: from birth to 4 years old.<\/h2>

Here, families with children from birth to 4 years old come together. We gather every week to connect to one another, to make music, to enjoy nature, to support our children's social, emotional, physical and musical growth.<\/p>\n

We Teach the Way Children Learn<\/h4>

At Music Together, we know that children learn differently than adults. They learn instinctively and constantly, teaching themselves through imitation and play, immersed in their environment, and interacting with adults and older children. The family-like setting of our classes creates an ideal learning environment. Your Role is Essential<\/h4>

You are your child\u2019s most important music teacher right now! Setting an example as an enthusiastic participator in music activities is the best thing any parent or caregiver can do to help set a child on the road to a lifelong love of music. Parents don\u2019t need to have music skills\u2014they just need a desire to play and have fun with their children! Our teacher is specially trained to create a safe atmosphere so you can happily join in, experiment, or even get silly\u2014and feel closer to your child while doing so.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Awarded Songs<\/h4>

Music and Child development experts work together continuously to create and improve our curriculum. When you join our classes, you will explore awarded songs from different styles, rhythms, tonalities and cultures. And, trust us, grown-ups will love them just as much as children!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

They are so much fun, you won't even notice learning is taking place. With each song, there will different activities specially designed to experience the songs and make music in an informal, and exciting way. Each week, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course). It\u2019s so much fun you won\u2019t realize how much learning is taking place! You\u2019ll take home the award-winning music used in class, along with an illustrated songbook and other resources. As you discover new ways to play with music all week long, you\u2019ll be supporting your child\u2019s music learning and overall development---even if you don\u2019t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Why Mixed Ages?<\/h1><\/div><\/div>

Child development researchers discovered that grouping children of different ages in one class encourages natural, family-style learning, so Music Together developed the Mixed-Age Music Class. In this class, everyone participates at their own levels: babies vocalize, listen, and observe; toddlers play and experiment; and preschoolers build confidence as they emerge as classroom leaders. Grownups are happy because everyone can come to class together.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Nature, with comfort<\/h1><\/div><\/div>

We meet in a private reforestation land, with ducks and geese, with lots of privacy and an all weather tent so we can fully benefit from being in Nature comfortably while living wonderful experiences together with our families.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
